Oregano (Origanum vulgare, Origanum onites, Origanum minutiflorum, Origanum majorana) is one of the most powerful and versatile essential oils. It contains strong immune-enhancing and antioxidant properties and supports the respiratory system.* Oregano may also be used to enhance the flavor of food. The chemo-type of our Oregano is Carvacrol. Oregano has an approximate ORAC of 153,007 (TE/L).

Further, the carvacrol in therapeutic-quality oregano oil in dilutions as low as 1/50,000 destroy Candida albicans, the Aspergillus mold, Staphylococcus, Campylobacter, Klebsiella, E.coli, Giardia, Pseudomonas and Proteus. Another phenol constituent, thymol, boosts the immune system.
